NOTE: We now remain open during lunchtime.
Opening time 08:15, closing time 16:45.
We are great believers in communication.
We are doing our best
to ensure all our customers orders are done on
time. This often means that a lot of jobs get
pushed back in the schedule because of very urgent
orders.
If your order has taken a while and becomes
urgent, then please tell us in time to
re-schedule. We will prioritise it, but would
prefer to be told before it becomes extremely
urgent and needed immediately. Please keep in
touch if the order is starting to become urgent,
and please call to check it is ready before coming
to collect.
Orders for regular customers will take priority
over urgent orders for new or infrequent
customers.

Delivery
We don’t charge
for deliveries, because we don’t have a driver
or rep. We can deliver to Manzini, Matsapha or
Ezulwini if requested, when we can fit it onto
our schedule (we usually go to Matsapha about
once a week). We cannot deliver on demand, as we
have to stop production to do this. Other
customers have deadlines too.
If you have an urgent deadline, please arrange
to collect the work yourself.
We also may not be available (when you need) to
come to collect samples or discuss an order. If
it is urgent, come to us, or send an email or
WhatsApp.

Normal
working procedure - How to order
If you do not have
a credit account with us, we will need a
deposit of half when you order, and the
balance when the work is completed.
When you order, we can give you the price of
the work, in order to know how much to pay. We
can also give you an idea of how long the work
will take.
Work will not start until the work is ordered.
To order printing
work:
- Ask for a quote and agree to
accept it, or ask us to go ahead (in
writing) without a quote.
- Pay the deposit.
- We will produce a proof copy,
and you must approve it in writing or sign
the proof before we start printing.
- Once the work is complete, make
the final payment and collect the work.
See below
for time
schedule. We usually work at virtually
full capacity and have orders that have been
scheduled. So we usually cannot push your work
to the front of the queue.
To order instant-print (printouts from your
file) we will try to do this straight away
whenever possible. Bring the file on flash
drive or disc. Phones and laptops are harder
to transfer files from. And let us know the
name of the file.
To order stamps: We just need the wording
(written clearly) and the deposit. If you have
special requirements, please read, and
indicate on the order form. If the wording is
not clear or there appears to be an error, we
will not make the stamp, but will produce only
a proof copy for checking before continue.
Time Schedule
For Rubber Stamps: these are
usually ready on the following working
day, from about 10:00 am. If the stamp is
very urgent, it can normally be done
within about 45 minutes, but there is a
surcharge of E90 for this.
For small numbers of printouts from
files supplied: these can often be printed
while you wait. But if we are busy, you
may need to come back later, or the
following day.
For offset printed work, and any larger
quantities: this will probably take
at least a week. This depends on how busy
we are and the size of the order. But if
you request it, we should be able to give
an estimate of the time schedule when you
order.

Supplying
your own artwork
If you want to design the
artwork yourself, ideally we should see a copy
of it before we quote. If it is not what we
expected, we may need to requote.
Most printing work does not bleed, and any
quotation will not be calculated to account
for this unless it is clearly stated before
the quotation is done.
You can supply it to us as follows:
In prepress PDF format. In JPG or any other
bitmap format, 300 dpi. In CorelDraw ver. X6
or earlier. In PageMaker.
Any files supplied must be without any copy
restrictions or password protection.
If this is correct we won't charge
you any artwork fees. However, if you use MS Word,
Power Point, Publisher etc. to design your
business cards, or bleed
is required but no bleed allowance is included, we
will have to either convert, edit or redo the
artwork, which will be charged for.
Business Card
If the image does not bleed (white margin) then
the artwork should be 90 x 50 mm. All the
text/graphics on the card must be at least 3 mm
from the edge.
If there is bleed,
then the artwork should be 94 x 54 mm. This
includes 2mm all round which will be trimmed off
to avoid any white edge showing. All the text
information on the card must be at least 5 mm
from the edge.
Fonts
We can only print the work as you have designed it
if we have all the fonts you have used. Either you
need to use only standard fonts, or provide a copy
of all fonts used in True Type or Type 1 format
(ttf, oft, afm/pfm/pfb). Otherwise the font will
be substituted.
If we have to match the font, we may have to
search for and download fonts from the internet.
This takes time, and so a cost for this will be
involved, even if it is a free download. If the
font is not available free and the only option is
a paid download, we will request the customer to
supply the font files.
Original supplied / Ready to print
If a file or hard copy is supplied by the
customer, unless we are asked to proofread and
edit, it will be assumed that it has been provided
"ready to print", and it has already been checked
before supplying.
We can proofread and edit, but only if we are
asked to do so. Otherwise, we will not be looking
for errors and will continue with the printing.
Proofreading and editing will be charged at the
standard hourly rate for artwork. If we were not
informed that this is required until after we
quoted, and not included in the quotation, this
will be an additional charge.
If we do the artwork and typesetting for your
order, we will proofread and correct at no
additional charge, but we will require the
customer to sign off the final proof copy as
correct before we print. It is much easier for the
customer to spot errors in phone numbers, emails
etc.

Rubber
Stamps
You should expect your rubber stamp on the next
working day from about 11:00 a.m.
Urgent stamps can be done in about 45 minutes
(depending on the size and complexity).
Multicolour stamps and embossers are usually 3
days
We stock various sizes of regular handles, self
inking and date stamps.
For the more common self inking stamps, we stock
Trodat Imprint, rather than Trodat Printy. The
quality of these are now comparable to the Printy,
and the price is lower.
We also stock various inks and pads for rubber
stamps, including specialist ink such as UV ink
(only visible under UV light), ink for stamping on
glass, plastic or any non-absorbent surfaces, ink
for textiles and white ink for dark surfaces.
Also available are embossers and multicolour
stamps.
We do not stock everything that our suppliers
provide, we just keep the most common items. But
if there is anything else you need, we can place a
special order, although we usually order from the
suppliers about once every 2 months, as the
transport costs are now so high.
Sizes available and
prices can be viewed here.
If you are a stationers, or resell stamps, or if
you are ordering several stamps at once, please
contact us about trade prices.
Error on your stamp?
Sorry - sometimes it happens. Not often, but it
does!
If it is entirely our mistake it will be fixed at
our expense. But, unless the original was an
urgent/same-day stamp, it will be the following
working day, and we only fix the error. Or did you
get something wrong too? If you need to make other
changes then we split the cost of fixing.

Payment
We require a deposit of 50% before the work is
started, then the balance on completion of the
work. As the work is custom made and not something
that can be returned to stock, the balance is due,
even if the work is not collected.
If you need a credit account: please
ask for an application form. But we do not
give credit until the application has been
approved, and it will not be approved until we
have a track record of good payments.
